The Chauffeured Chopper

The Chauffeured Chopper is a mount you get for collecting 35 heirlooms, from the achievement Heirloom Hoarder. It has no level or riding requirement, so even a brand-new character can use it. It arrives by mail.

Chauffeured Chopper

  • Warbound
  • Use: Hire your personal chauffeur.
  • No level or riding skill required
  • Always travels at 160% speed
  • “Transportation is a precise business.”

How to get it

  1. Collect 35 different heirlooms. They count once they are in your Heirlooms tab.
  2. That completes Heirloom Hoarder, the fourth of four collection achievements: Where’s the Mailbox?, Alt-ernative Lifestyle, Ready for Powerleveling, and Heirloom Hoarder.
  3. Oglethorpe Obnoticus mails you a letter with a Clinking Present attached. The Chauffeured Chopper is inside.

What you get

The item teaches two mounts: the Chauffeured Mekgineer’s Chopper for Alliance characters and the Chauffeured Mechano-Hog for Horde characters. A chauffeur drives while you ride in the sidecar, and you still steer. It always moves at 160% speed, whatever your riding skill.

Pandaren who start on the Wandering Isle cannot use it until they choose the Alliance or the Horde.

Cheapest way to 35 heirlooms

Using the gold prices on this site and ignoring the two faction-only trinkets, the 35 cheapest heirlooms cost:

Curators only, no guild19,00014 shoulders, 8 chest, 3 off-hand, 9 one-hand, 1 two-hand
With guild vendors17,50012 shoulders, 3 cloak, 6 chest, 6 head, 6 legs, 2 off-hand

Heirlooms you already own count, so your real cost is lower. Darkmoon Prize Tickets and Champion’s Seals can replace some of the gold; see all vendors. Track what you have with the collection tracker.
