Privacy policy
WoW Heirlooms has no accounts and no sign-up forms. We do not collect your name or email, and we keep no Battle.net details. We use Google services that set cookies, described below.
Last updated October 20, 2026.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. It records things like the pages you view, how you arrived, your approximate location, and your device and browser. Google Analytics uses cookies to tell visits apart. We do not send it anything that identifies you by name.
You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site and other sites. Google’s advertising cookies let it and its partners serve ads to you based on those visits.
You can turn off personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ cookies at aboutads.info. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Your browser
The heirloom filters, the upgrade calculator, and the heirloom finder keep your choices in the page address so you can share a link. The collection tracker and finder save the heirlooms you tick, or import, in your browser’s local storage. None of this is sent to our servers.
Battle.net import
The collection tracker can fill itself from Battle.net. If you sign in, your browser goes to Blizzard, and Blizzard asks whether to let this site see your World of Warcraft profile. If you agree, our server uses that permission once to read your heirloom collection, sends the list to your browser, and discards it. We do not keep the permission, your account details, or your collection. A cookie holds a random code for the ten minutes a sign-in can take, to check that the sign-in you return from is the one you started. It is deleted when you return.
If you look up a character instead, the region, realm, and character name you type go to our server, which asks Blizzard for that character’s heirlooms and passes them back. We do not keep them. Our hosting provider may log requests to our server, as it does for every page.
